I'm a Postdoctoral Researcher at IACM FORTH, also associated to the University of Crete. My research interests include topological solitons in classical field theory such as magnetic skyrmions in chiral magnets. From 2018 to 2022, I worked on my PhD at Heriot-Watt University under the supervision of Bernd Schroers. From 2022 to 2023 I was a tutor and lecturer at the African Institute of Mathematical Sciences at the Senegal centre (AIMS-Senegal). I'm currently on the committee of the Solitons at Work network, and I'm the Social Media Coordinator for the Polytopo COST action.
